摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control device for an internal combustion engine capable of eliminating or restraining deviation of an air-fuel ratio of an air-fuel mixture when any of cylinder groups is failed, in an engine equipped with a plurality of cylinder groups. <P>SOLUTION: In a V-type engine E equipped with an intake system having a common air flow meter 78 in banks 2L and 2R and using inertia supercharging effect independently for each of the banks 2L and 2R, when one of variable intake control valves 74L and 74R provided in the banks 2L and 2R is failed and air-fuel ratio feed-back control is stopped, decreasing compensation of a fuel injection amount is carried out for the bank 2L on the side where the variable intake control valve 47L is failed, and increasing compensation of the fuel injection amount is carried out for the bank 2R on the side where the variable intake control valve 47R is not failed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
