PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register, on a slide dictionary, a long character string of high appearance frequency as an initial value. SOLUTION: Character strings in sample data are sorted into groups of character strings containing leading three characters ("ABC") equal with each other. A character string of highest appearance frequency in the sample data (most frequently appearing character string) is extracted one by one from each of the groups.
