PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an end user to freely select push-pull specifications and one-side specifications. SOLUTION: First and second sliding bodies, which can be moved by a pushing piece, are provide in a lock case; a switch type operation piece is journaled in the lock case in such a manner that an outer end part is positioned in the opening of a front plate; a movable piece 43 is engaged with an inner end part of the operation piece 40; and a holding means 45 capable of holding the movable piece 43 is arranged in the lock case. In the switching of a specification mode, when the outer end part 40a of the operation piece 40 is operated from the side of the front plate, the movable piece 43 moves to a position to inhibit the advance of the sliding body, so that the original push-pull specification mode can be switched to the one-side specification one.
