PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide device of a top-hinged swinging door, which reduces the sound of the collision of a guide pin with a guiding groove when the guide pin is protruded. SOLUTION: When a top-hinged swinging door body 5 reaches an upper position of a floor-surface installation member 1 which is installed on a floor surface 2, a second tubular body 4b is attracted by a magnet 10; and the guide pins (4a and 4b) are protruded upward from inside the case 3, and automatically inserted into the guiding groove 61 of the guiding groove member 6 of the door body 5. The collision of the top surface of the guide pin with the bottom surface of the guiding groove in the protrusion of the guide pin is received by a protrusive streak 9, so that the sound of the collision between the guide pin 4 and the guiding groove 61 can be reduced. A locking member 8b for the second tubular body 4b gets over an upper part 45 of the first tubular body 4a, so as to be locked to the upper part 45 of the first tubular body 4a, and a locking member 8 for the case 3 gets over a lower part 43 of the first tubular body 4a, so as to be locked to the lower part 43 of the first tubular body 4a.
