PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coping which exerts excellent mounting efficiency by virtue of a novel mounting structure. SOLUTION: The coping is formed of a bracket 4 fixed to a parapet 1, and a coping main body 5 mounted on the bracket 4 and arranged on an upper surface 2 of the parapet 1. The coping main body 5 is laterally divided into a one-side divided piece 6 and the other-side divided piece 7. Further the bracket 4 has a connection portion 14 formed on the other side thereof, to which the other-side divided piece 7 is connected, the other-side divided piece 7 has a one-side engaging portion 23 formed on one side thereof, and the one-side divided piece 6 has the other-side engaging portion 30 formed on the other side thereof, for engaging with the one-side engaging portion 23. Then the bracket 4 is connected to the other-side divided piece 7 by the connection portion 14, and thus the bracket 4 can be fixed to the parapet 1 together with the other-side divided piece 7. Furthermore the one-side divided piece 6 is assembled to the other-side divided piece 7 and the bracket 4 fixed to the parapet 1, which leads to excellent mounting efficiency.
