PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enhancing inhibitory effects of epigallocatechin gallate on hepatic lipid accumulation and the inhibitory effects thereof on serum lipid and to provide an inhibitor of the hepatic lipid accumulation and the inhibitor of the serum lipid having enhanced effects thereof. SOLUTION: Enhancing actions of caffeine on the inhibitory effects of the epigallocatechin gallate on the hepatic lipid accumulation and the inhibitory effects thereof on the serum lipid are utilized. Thereby, the inhibitory effects on the hepatic lipid accumulation and the inhibitory effects on the serum lipid can be exhibited with a small amount of the epigallocatechin gallate.
