PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid applicator capable of applying a large quantity of application liquid. SOLUTION: The liquid applicator has a large-quantity application brush part 4 with application liquid retaining grooves 13, extending in the vertical direction, formed on the outer surface of bristle materials 12 for applying the application liquid to target hair for application. With this structure, a large quantity of the application liquid, scraped and left in the application liquid retaining grooves 13 when the liquid application is drawn out of an application liquid container, can be retained in the liquid applicator, and therefore, the thick application liquid can be applied to the target hair for application.
