PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separate disposal device for an injection needle and a separate processing method for an injection needle, separating a needle from a hub without touching the injection needle to collect the needle safely in order to solve the problem of wrong injecting with a used injection needle and medical waste, and simple to be installed in each medical site. SOLUTION: This separate disposal device for an injection needle includes: a needle guide 2 having a needle hole 21; a rod having a slit 31; a guide shaft; an outer peripheral member 5 for inserting the rod 3 in a lumen substantially closely and to move forward and backward; a rotating means for rotating the rod 3; a moving means for moving the rod 3 forward or backward and a needle collecting case 10, wherein the needle inserted from the needle hole 21 is introduced into a longitudinal slit 31 of the rod 3, and after the rod 3 is rotated and wind the needle thereon, the rod 3 is retracted to drop the wound needle 101 in the wound shape at the end face of the outer peripheral member and collect it.
