PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric razor, allowing a user to properly performing maintenance and replacement work for an outer blade by himself by simplifying the removal operation for the outer blade mounted on a locking hook. SOLUTION: This electric razor includes: an outer blade holder 12; and the outer blade 11 held in the shape of an inverted U. The outer blade 11 is constructed by a blade body 21 and a reinforcement plate 23 fixed to a mount base 22 thereof. Locking holes 24 provided on the left and right of a fitting base 26 including the mount base 22 and the reinforcement plate 23 are locked and mounted on inverted-L shaped locking hooks 35 projected on the inner surface of the outer blade holder 12. The inner wall of the outer blade holder 12 located between the right and left locking hooks 35 is provided with a fulcrum projection 40. An operating part 27 provided on the fitting base 26 is pressed to press the fitting base 26 to the fulcrum projection 40, and the peripheral edge wall of the locking hole 24 is tilted inward to be simply separated from the locking hook 35.
