PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which achieves the fairness of games along with an easier development of new type of machines. SOLUTION: The slot machine is provided with an internal winning flag housing work, a special winning combination temporarily housing work and an ordinary winning combination temporarily housing work. A CPU houses the result of a lottery for determining the ordinary winning combination into the ordinary winning combination temporarily housing work per game and houses the result to the effect that the winning of the special winning combination is judged into the special winning combination temporarily housing work and maintains it until the special winning combination involved is won. The CPU updates the internal winning flag housing work from the data housed into the special winning combination temporarily housing work and the ordinary winning combination temporarily housing work per game. The special winning combination area and the ordinary winning combination area making up the internal winning flag housing work are both allocated to the area initialized per game in a RAM.
