The contact determination S11 can be easily set only by storing the length of the prescribed time T1 in the determination of contact in a memory. In addition, as the elapse of measurement standby time T2 is a condition for starting the measurement, the time to start the measurement can be delayed by the measurement standby time T2, and as a result, the time for the measurement of the body temperature can be reduced and the quantity of consumption of the electric power to drive a temperature measuring sensor can be reduced.
