PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound probe which is reliably grabbed. SOLUTION: A pair 18 of depressed surfaces is formed on a first side surface 12A and a third side surface 12C in a distal end part 12. The pair 18 of the depressed surfaces is constituted of a lower depressed surface 20 and an upper depressed surface 22. A depressed surface 24 is formed on a second side surface 12B and on a fourth side surface 12D. Each depressed surface is formed into a curved surface depressed gradually into a dented spherical surface. Consequently, the adhesiveness of a finger cushion to the depressed surface is improved.
