<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device in which a generation of chromaticity deviation due to ambient temperature change is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: In the light emitting device including a light source and a plurality of phosphors which absorbs at least part of light emitted from the light source and emits light having a different wavelength, the phosphor includes at least one first phosphor located on the light source, and at least one or more kinds of second phosphors in which at least part of the emitting light is absorbed by the first phosphor while the first phosphor is located nearer to the light source side than the second phosphor.
