<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic device for an exhaust gas recirculation device, capable of performing highly-accurate diagnosis to the exhaust gas recirculation device mounted in a hybrid vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This diagnostic device for the exhaust gas recirculation device is loaded in the hybrid vehicle having a motor generator and an internal combustion engine as power sources. The diagnostic device for the exhaust gas recirculation device has: a control means driving the motor generator to operate the internal combustion engine when output to a drive shaft of the internal combustion engine is shut off; and a diagnostic means performing the diagnosis to the exhaust gas recirculation device when the internal combustion engine is operated by the control means. Thereby, since the diagnosis can be performed in a state that the internal combustion engine is kept in a desired state by positively operating the internal combustion engine by the motor generator, the accuracy of the diagnosis can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
