<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film which unites storage stability of coating liquid and curing activity and, moreover, is excellent in scratch resistance, and to provide a polarizing plate and an image display apparatus using such an antireflection film. <P>SOLUTION: The antireflection film has a low refractive index layer formed by applying a composition which comprises: at least one kind of fluorine-containing polymer including fluorine-containing vinyl monomer polymerization unit (a) and hydroxide group-containing vinyl monomer polymerization unit (b) respectively at least by one kind; at least one kind of crosslinking agent which can react with hydroxide groups; and at least one kind of salt consisting of acid and organic base of which the boiling point is 120°C or less. In the polarizing plate, such an antireflection film is used for one side of two sheets of protective films of a polarizing film. In the image display apparatus, such an antireflection film or such a polarizing plate is used for the uppermost surface of a display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
