PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of appropriately sorting and managing paper without having direct communication with an image forming device.

SOLUTION: This paper sorting and management device includes a plurality of bins 90a to 90j storing carried paper; a paper reader part 84 reading paper management information stored in an IC tag 10 attached to the carried paper; a sorting destination determining part 71b determining the bin (either of the bins 90a to 90j) to store the paper, based on the read paper management information; and a carrying part 85 carrying the paper to the sorting destination bin (either of the bins 90a to 90j).
