<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fusion optical fiber photo device system comprising especially high refractive index optical fibers. <P>SOLUTION: The fusion optical fiber photo device system comprises at least one optical component comprising an optical fiber and at least another optical component in which the light transmitted by the optical fiber interact. The optical fiber comprises core glass of the following composition expressed with mol%, and does not substantially contain CdO.
