PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing for housing information equipment that has a simple structure for facilitating installation operation, and saves space. SOLUTION: The casing 2 for housing information equipment has a rail 5 at the bottom surface of its housing body 3 and allows information equipment 1 to be installed on an equipment installation board 7 that is slidable on the rail 5, thus housing the information equipment 1 in the body 3 so it is capable of insertion and removal through the sliding operation, and allowing space-saving installation, as well as facilitating the installation operation.
