PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing 1 for housing information equipment that can be installed in a small area. SOLUTION: The casing 1 for housing information equipment arranges an installation board 5 for installing the information equipment 4 perpendicular to a floor surface, arranges the information equipment 4 to the installation board 5 in the direction of its depth with a space on its front side being narrow while the casing can be placed on the floor as it is, making it possible for it to be installed in a small space and decreasing restriction on an installation location, and allowing a simple installation operation.
