PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device having a high display quality. SOLUTION: The organic EL display device 1 comprises an insulating substrate 10, a plurality of first electrodes 11, a first insulating member 12b, a plurality of second insulating members 12a, a plurality of organic EL layers 13, and a plurality of second electrodes 17. The first insulating member 12b partitions the plurality of first electrodes 11 mutually individually and is formed in lattice shape so as to divide the surface of each first electrode 11 into a plurality of regions in the direction of extension of the first electrodes 11. The first insulating member 12b is a cross-sectional trapezoidal shape protruding in tapering-off shape from the insulating substrate 10. The plurality of second insulating members 12a are formed on the first insulating member 12b so as to extend mutually in parallel in the direction of crossing the first electrodes 11. Each of the second insulating members 12a has a cross-sectional inverse trapezoidal shape which protrudes in widening shape from the first insulating member 12b.
