PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to share the chapters of the recorded data of digital broadcast data 101 in two or more titles. SOLUTION: The tuner 102 inputs digital broadcast data 101 and outputs partial TS data. When the HDD management section 104 inputs the user control information 103 showing the HDD recording instruction, it is recorded on the HDD drive 110 through a TS recording section 107 and a HDD recording and reproducing section 109 of the HDD drive control section 106. When the HDD management section 104 and the DVD management section 105 input the user control information 103 showing a dubbing instruction, the data before dubbing are read from the HDD drive 110 into the HDD drive control section 106 and dubbed as the data after dubbing on the DVD drive/medium 115 after converted into PS data in the TS-PS conversion section 116 through the DVD control section 111.
