PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer frame of a ceiling inspection port capable of realizing convenient handling such as storage because there is no part protruding to the outside of the outer frame irrespective of use of a corner piece manufactured to have a thick wall, preventing its deformation due to worker's contact with it at installation time, and increasing connection strength of adjacent outer frame members. SOLUTION: The corner piece 11 for joining adjacent ends of adjacent outer frame members 3, 3 loaded obliquely has both blade parts 19 fitted into an upper fitting channel 15 and a lower fitting channel 16 in respective adjacent outer frame members in a closely fitted condition and an arc-like part 20 for connecting both blade parts at a right angle. The arcuate part is abutted on a lower end fringe 21 at an upper side hook-like fringe and an upper end fringe 22 at a lower side hooked fringe. The outer periphery of the arcuate part is within a scope which does not exceed outer faces of the upper side hooked fringe and the lower side hooked fringe. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
