<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the invasion of particulates containing a salt into a liquid fuel direct supply type fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises a power generating unit, a fuel supply means, an air supply means, and a recovery means which recovers water generated by the electrochemical reaction of a positive electrode and a liquid fuel that has not contributed to the electrochemical reaction of a negative electrode and returns to the fuel supply means. The fuel cell system further comprises an air filter 15 of multi-layer structure at an air intake port 14 for introducing air supplied to the air supply means and an opening and closing means 16 at an air exhaust port 13 for exhausting air separated from the recovery means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
