<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type water heater performing a reheating operation by judging excess and deficiency of heat quantity when reservation of heating-up and heat-retention of bath, heating, drying and the like is performed by a reservation timer. <P>SOLUTION: This hot water storage type water heater comprises a hot water storage tank 7 for storing hot water heated by a heating means 2, and the reservation timer 35 to use the hot water in the hot water storage tank 7 for hot water supply, heating-up and heat retention of bath, heating, drying and the like. The reheating operation is performed by calculating reheating heat quantity from present stored hot water heat quantity and necessary heat quantity on the basis of at least reservation of heating-up and heat retention of bath, heating, drying and the like to the reservation timer 35. As excess and deficiency is judged from the stored hot water heat quantity and necessary heat quantity at a timing of setting the reservation timer, and the reheating operation is performed in deficiency, when the reservation time is used in utilizing the stored hot water in hot water supply, bathing, heating and drying, the hot water can be used with ease at all times without worrying about shortage of hot water on the way. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
