<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a drive unit capable of restraining a temperature of an electric motor or an inverter from increasing, capable of restraining a battery from being overcharged or overdischarged, and capable of satisfying required driving force, in a high load operation. <P>SOLUTION: This controller for the drive unit provided with a prime mover, the first electric motor and the second electric motor, constituted to allot reaction of torque from the prime mover to the first electric motor, and provided further with a transmission between the second electric motor and an output member, is provided with an operation condition control means (steps S107-S111) for controlling at least one out of the first electric motor, the second electric motor and the prime mover, and the transmission, to provide the operation condition of the best energy transmission efficiency, in a high load operation condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
