<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for performing an image management so that any of stored images can be outputted depending on its purpose of use. <P>SOLUTION: This MFP 101 generates a plurality of kinds of image information items on the basis of acquired images, and generates document information of the XML form for describing respective generated image information items.
