PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent formation of a clearance between a wind direction changing blade and an air conditioner body in closing the wind direction changing blade controlling the vertical wind direction through a variable arm portion, and to prevent short circuit by preventing supplied air from being sucked from a suction opening. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner having a panel 20 for opening and closing the suction opening 5, and the wind direction changing blade 30 disposed at the supply opening 6, and controlling the vertical wind direction by the wind direction changing blade 30 through the variable arm portion 31, the wind direction changing blade 30 is provided with a rotation supporting portion 32 on its rear surface at an air conditioner body side in being closed, and the arm portion 31 and the rotation supporting portion 32 are turnably connected with each other.
