<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having a terminal structure that allows a fitting connection even with a connection object having wiring patterns whose pitches are variedly narrowed while stably maintaining conductivity by protecting contacts even under use conditions of being exposed to dust. <P>SOLUTION: The connector has the following structure. Each of contacts 3, 4 fixed and held by a housing 1 is composed so that contacts 31, 41 to an FPC 5 as the connection object in a fitting direction are provided at different places and two types of contacts having terminals 34, 44 at places in a direction opposite to each other are alternately arranged vertically on a plane including the fitting direction. An operating member 2 used for rotational operation while being mounted to the housing 1 is composed so that the terminal 44 of the contact 4 alignedly located on a deep side of a fitting port 11 in the housing 1 is covered with a cover 23 in a closed state, and the terminal 34 of the contact 3 on the front side of the fitting port 11 is also covered with the FPC 5 in a fitting connection state with the FPC 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
