<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of enhancing the amusement of a game and helping a player select a game machine. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine comprises a main control part for executing a lottery for determining whether the game should be shifted to a special game with the fall of a game ball into a start winning hole as the initiator and determining stopped special symbols and the display pattern based on the result of the lottery, a subordinate control part for determining stopped ornament symbols and the display pattern according to the result of the lottery and the display pattern of the special symbols and variably displaying symbols in a symbol display device, and a detection part for detecting the movement of game balls.
