PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct open circuit defect of a narrow width wiring pattern conveniently and precisely without damaging a wiring board. SOLUTION: A correction brush 10 is prepared by arranging tapering hairs having flexible hair ends on a plane intersecting a wiring board 1 substantially perpendicularly while inclining the axis against the wiring board 1. The correction brush 10 is held such that the hair ends touch the wiring board 1 and in a state where conductive paste 3 is supplied to the hair ends, the correction brush 10 is moved linearly in the inclining direction of hair in parallel with the wiring board 1. Since an open circuit defect portion is coated with the conductive paste 3, unintended increase in the line width is prevented during application of the conductive paste 3. Since a line as thin as the diameter at the hair end is described, damage due to contact with the hair ends is avoided in correction work. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
