PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable (1) for connection to an operating part such as a robot arm of a factory automation (FA) apparatus such as an industrial robot wherein the operating part is mounted to a mobile apparatus, the cable being inexpensive and enduring long-term continuous use while undergoing continuous bending and friction in a cable support guide apparatus (8). SOLUTION: A cable sheath (2) is composed of a composition including 55 to 90 ptw. of a liquid plasticizer and 0.2 to 3.0 ptw. of aliphatic amide with respect to 100 ptw. of a vinyl chloride resin or a vinyl chloride copolymer resin. Alternatively, a composition including 0.2 to 3.0 ptw. of aliphatic amide mixed with a thermoplastic urethane resin is used. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
