PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retroreflective material capable of stably exhibiting an excellent reflection performance. SOLUTION: The retroreflective material 1 has a reflection surface 2 on which microspheres 16 capable of retroreflection are arranged. The reflection surface 2 has fine protrusion parts 2a according to protrusion of the microspheres 16 and a water-repellent film 20 having a thickness of 10 nm or less is formed along the shape of the protrusion parts 2a on the same.
