PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of accurately and stably detecting put-out game balls without impairing the efficiency in maintenance. SOLUTION: The pachinko game machine 1 related to this embodiment has a light reducing means 340 for shading at least part of the outside light proceeding to a detection area by a modulation/demodulation type photosensor 335. Accordingly, false detection by the modulation/demodulation type photosensor 335 caused by the outside light from a lighting device, etc. in the periphery of the game machine, or the damage from the fraudulence such as the fraudulent light emission to the demodulation type photosensor 335 can be prevented.
