PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bacterial strains and a method for efficiently producing L-amino acids using microorganism by fermentation. SOLUTION: The method for efficiently producing the L-amino acids, especially L-lysine, L-threonine and L-glutamic acid is to culture the microorganism belonging to Enterobacteriaceae modified to enhance activity by increasing copy number of the gene of theβ-glucoside PTS, especially bacteria belonging to Escherichia, Pantoea, in a medium, producing and accumulating the L-amino acids in the medium or the bacterial cells and harvesting the L-amino acids from the medium or the bacterial cells.
