<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, having a structure in which improved axial accuracy is ensured by preventing shaft displacement of each rotating body and the size of the outer shape of each rotating body driving means is enlarged so as to attain reduced rotation nonuniformity and improved accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The body of the image forming apparatus includes shafts 64 each of which supports a rotating body unit 50 by being passed through the rotating body unit 50; and a holding member 60 holding the shafts 64. The holding member 60 has a first shaft holding member 61, which in the direction of insertion of the rotating body unit 50, supports the front part of each shaft 64 that passed through rotating body unit 50. The holding member 60 also has a second shaft holding member 63 which, in the direction of insertion of the rotating body unit 50, supports the rear part of each shaft 64 that passed through the rotating body unit 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
