<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steer-by-wire system capable of suppressing any excessive power consumption and heat generation of the system when a steering motor control device is in an abnormal state, and constantly ensuring the following performance of a steering motor to the steering operation. <P>SOLUTION: When a steering motor control device 60 is in an emergent state, the steering motor control device 60 is disconnected from a drive control system of motors 20, 31, and a brushless DC motor 20 is drive-controlled by a mechanical rectifier 35 to turn turning wheels 50, 50. The three-phase AC voltage having the phase corresponding to the steering operation to a steering wheel 11 is generated from adequate DC voltage to be supplied from a battery BT0 or a battery BT1 by the mechanical rectifier 35, and applied to the brushless DC motor 20. In this condition, a switch SW2 adequately executes the selection so that the power supplied to the brushless DC motor 20 is monotonously increased step by step to the magnitude of the power to be generated and output by a repulsive motor 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
