HYBRID DRIVE DEVICE AND ITS OPERATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid drive device excellent in the respective points of extremely slight structural cost, a slight required structure space, slight part cost and simple and effective control property.

SOLUTION: The hybrid drive device of the present invention is provided with an internal combustion engine (1); an electric machine (4) capable of performing motor operation and generator operation; a clutch; a transmission (5) of variable transmission ratio; power electronics (7); and an electric energy accumulation device (8). The clutch is arranged between the internal combustion engine (1) and the transmission (5) and drive torque can be led from the internal combustion engine (1) to the transmission (5) and from the electric machine (4) to the internal combustion engine (1) through the clutch. The electric machine (4) is arranged between the only clutch (2) arranged between the internal combustion engine (1) and the transmission (5) and the transmission such that the electric machine (4) can directly transmit positive or negative torque to a transmission input shaft (5a) of the transmission (5).
