PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to register a rule forautomatically selecting desired music piece naturally without any complcated operation. SOLUTION: This player includes a storage device 20 for storing a plurality of music data to be played, a data selection means 12 for selecting some music data 23 from the plurality of music data 23 based on a predetermined selection rule 21, a reproducing means 13 for reproducing the selected music data 23 by an acoustic circuit 30, an evaluation reception means 14 for receiving evaluation information 22 input during the reproduction of the music data 23, an attribute data generation means 15 for recording the music data 23 of the evaluation information 22 as attribute data, and a rule updating means 16 for updating the selection rule of the music data 23 using the evaluation information 22 as a parameter based on the evaluation information 22 contained in the attribute data.
