PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-DC converter for eliminating reverse current, when a load is switched to a large load state to a small load state. SOLUTION: The DC-DC converter 100 is provided with a switching circuit 40 having switching elements 41, 42 on the low and high sides, an inductor L51 connected to the output end of the switching circuit 40, a smoothing capacitor C51 connected to the inductor L51; switching control circuits 10-30 for supplying the switching elements 41, 42 with switching pulses; and a circuit 70 for forcibly turning off the switching element 42 on the low side, when it detects that the switching element 41 on the high side has been maintained to be turned off, and the switching element 42 on the low side is maintained to be turned on for a predetermined period or longer.
