PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a learning support device capable of automatically creating and collecting various example sentences for learning suitable for learner's vocabulary level and presenting them to the learner. SOLUTION: The learning support device comprises: a sentence pattern database 3 storing sentence patterns; a vocabulary level judging means 7 for judging the vocabulary level of the sentence pattern read out of the sentence pattern database 3; a vocabulary selecting means 4 for selecting words in accordance with the judgement result of the vocabulary level of the sentence and/or learning history; and a sentence creating means 8 for creating an example sentence for learning by replacing the words in the sentence pattern by the words selected by the vocabulary selecting means 4.
