PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat device which detects the position of a toilet seat by temperature difference between a plurality of temperature detection means without installing a dedicated toilet seat position detection means, and consequently is inexpensive and compact. SOLUTION: The toilet seat device is provided with: the plurality of temperature detection means 26 arranged at different positions in a front-and-rear direction inside the toilet seat 12; and a control part 16. The standing state of the toilet seat is detected with a difference in the temperatures detected by the temperature detection means at different front-and-rear positions, so that the standing state of the toilet seat can be detected without arranging the dedicated toilet seat position detection means.
