<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit output of a fuel cell from becoming unstable by accumulation of foreign substance in a cell of a downstream side of the fuel cell and to enable to supply gas quickly into a gas flow path of the cell of the downstream side at a time of starting the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is provided with a plurality of first cells which are laminated, an electricity collection means arranged at both sides of a direction of laminating the cells so as to hold the first cells laminated and collecting electricity generated in the plurality of first cells, a gas supply manifold penetrating the first cells laminated and connected to an inlet side of the gas flow path inside of each of the first cells, and a gas discharge manifold penetrating the first cells laminated and connected to an outlet side of the gas flow path. In the fuel cell, a second cell is arranged at a opposite side of the electricity collection means, arranged at a downstream side to a gas flow within the gas supply manifold, to the first cells. The second cell is provided with gas flow paths of the second cell, connected to the gas supply manifold and the gas discharge manifold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
