<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a product made of aluminum alloy, which product is not contaminated with gas and oxide films, and has no shrinkage cavity, and is excellent in mechanical properties. <P>SOLUTION: The method for forming the aluminum alloy is a novel forming method for manufacturing the product by casting or forging molten metal, half molten or half solid metal of aluminum alloy using a single press die. A primary product is formed by the press die, and then the product 50d is formed by carrying out a secondary forming process, in which the primary product reached at a solidification finishing temperature is forged with a shape change rate of 10 to 40% to the primary product. In this case, the generation of the shrinkage cavities during solidification and shrinkage is prevented by directly and continuously applying a pressure to the aluminum alloy from the start of forming until the completion of forming the product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
