<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple moist filter using a water-absorbing sheet more suitable for keeping moisture of vegetables than a conventionally well-known absorbing sheet and having moisture-retaining effect, readily usable, and enhancing moisture-retaining effect in a refrigerator without changing the structure of the refrigerator itself: and to provide a member for disposing the filter. <P>SOLUTION: The simple moist filter using a water-absorbing sheet has the following structure: water-absorbing resin is set between a surface sheet and a back surface sheet each having air permeability; and a quilted water-absorbing sheet is housed in a filter pocket. The member for disposing the filter has a boxy shape and is disposed in a vegetable chamber of the refrigerator to increase freshness of the vegetables so as to extend the storage period thereof. The method for using the member comprises a simple moisture-retaining method where the simple moist filter is disposed in the vegetable chamber in the refrigerator to enhance the freshness of the vegetables. The method comprises making the simple moist filter absorb moisture; and disposing the filter in the vegetable chamber or wrapping the vegetables with the filter so that outside air or cold air in the refrigerator increases the moisture around the vegetables via the simple moist filter to enable extension of storage period of the vegetables without shriveling them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
