<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a fuel cutoff valve 10 to close even a connecting passage 31b of the small passage area with high sealability. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cutoff valve 10 has a valve support part 53 in an upper part of a float 51, and a seat member 55 is mounted on this valve support part 53. The valve support part 53 has a bending space 53S having an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of a seal part 31c. The seat member 55 is formed of a rubber material, and has a seat part 56, a side wall part 57a formed in a cylindrical shape from an outer peripheral part of the seat part 56 and a slipping-out preventive part 57b in the side wall part 57a, and a mounting space 55S is formed by being formed in a substantially cross-sectional U shape, and is supported by the valve support part 53 by fitting and inserting the valve support part 53 to and into the mounting space 55S.
