<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a flexible board capable of improving a transmission characteristic of a high-frequency signal in a connection part between the flexible board and another board. <P>SOLUTION: This FPC connector 1 is provided with a housing 4 having a housing opening 4b opened and closed by a housing opening/closing part 4a. In the housing 4, contacts 5 in each of which a projecting part for a transmission line is not formed from an FPC connection part 5a connected to a connection terminal of a flexible board 2 to a board connection part 5c connected to a connection terminal of a rigid board 3 are arranged at predetermined intervals. By inserting the flexible board 2 into the housing opening 4b by putting the connection terminals downward with the housing opening/closing part 4a opened and then closing the housing opening/closing part 4a, the flexible board 2 is pressed downward by the housing opening/closing part 4a, and the contact terminals of the flexible board 2 and the FPC connection parts 5a of the contacts 5 are brought into contact with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
