PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder-reproducer which allows now selected picture information to be viewed while executing various processing. SOLUTION: The recorder-reproducer comprises a means for controlling the system so that, in the event of interruption of picture information being now received by a first receiving means to output the information to an output means, the picture information being received by the first receiving means are received by a second receiving means, and picture signals received by the second receiving means are output from the output means.
