PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method of magnetic field intensity distribution of a new and useful magnetic head and a manufacturing method of the magnetic head. SOLUTION: The measuring method comprises; a step (S102) to set up a skew angle; steps (S106, S108) which perform recording of a magnetic recording medium for measurement in a state heated to a prescribed temperature by a magnetic head to form a magnetic track; a step (S110) to measure a track profile of a track; a step to repeat steps of S104-S110 which are set up at different temperature Ti; and a step (S116) to convert the track profiles obtained at different temperatures into degrees of the magnetic field intensity based on a relationship between coercive force of the medium for measurement and the temperature.
