PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent difference of versions of software between apparatuses. SOLUTION: This separation type processor has a first apparatus 2 having a data acquisition part (digital signal receiving part 21) and a second apparatus (display device) 3 connected to the data acquisition part by cable or radio. The first apparatus 2 has a first control part 21A which acquires version update data of the software in the digital signal receiving part 21 (ST1) and transmits the notification signal S21 of completion of acquisition to the second apparatus 2 (ST2). The second apparatus 3 (panel control part 32) has a second control part 32A which transmits a response signal S32 to the digital signal receiving part 21 when the notification signal S21 is input and the first control part 21A transfers at least a part of the acquired version update data to the second control part 32A with the input of the response signal S32 (ST11).
