PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the down time of a system in case of system crush. SOLUTION: When a system crash flag 16<SB>2</SB>in a service processor 15 is set, a crossbar 10 separates a cell 1 which originally constitutes a partition P<SB>1</SB>according to an instruction from the service processor 15, and incorporates a cell 3 which is preliminarily prepared as a spare cell 1 not belonging to any partitions P<SB>1</SB>and P<SB>2</SB>. The service processor 15 then initializes a memory 9 of the cell 3 for newly constituting the partition P<SB>1</SB>, starts the partition P<SB>1</SB>constituted by the cell 3 and an IO part 11, and starts an OS of the partition P<SB>1</SB>constituted by the cell 3 and the IO part 11. Thereafter, a dump reading/writing control part 13 reads, in response to an instruction from the service processor 15, memory information from a memory 7 of the cell 1 which constitutes the partition P1 at the time of system crush, and writes it to a dump disk 14.
